linkedin - ‘the real face of sales’ online film

There are many misconceptions about sales. From ‘pushy’ and ‘dishonest’ to ‘cheesy’ and ‘slick’, salespeople are often unfairly represented in the media and popular culture. We wanted to drive positive brand perception amongst sales individuals in the US and UK through a campaign that shows LinkedIn champions real sales professionals – and understands their role in the modern sales world. In order to help change this perception of sales we created a hero video contrasting the clichéd image of sales with the real face of modern sales. The film was shot in San Francisco, and followed the lives of four sales professionals. During this period we captured images in a photojournalist style of the sales professionals that were published to the stock library ‘Unsplash’.

Both the video and images were promoted through a paid media campaign, driving traffic back to a dedicated hub on LinkedIn.
